Important thing to note about this place is that you should definitely book ahead if you are planning your visit, as it gets quite busy. We didn’t plan ahead as we were unaware of how busy it would be, however, it was quite busy, but the staff offered us to sit in the bar area where we could also order food via the bar and not through a waiter, which was no problem, we was just thankful that we had somewhere to sit without waiting.
The bar place is quite Loud but I supposed it was this way all throughout the whole restaurant as it seemed like it was fully booked, all the tables were occupied and more and more people kept coming.
The food took about roughly 25-30 mins, and we got 2 chicken burgers and one of their Stack burgers, don’t quite recall what it was called. It was nice and tasty and very filling as the portion was quite large.
The service was fine.
Whenever I visit Folkestone for work I always stay in the Premier Inn next door.
The hospitality you get from the pub is outstanding. I have visited on most week nights, and it is always the same, great food, great service with a nice selection on the menu. There is also a nice array of drinks on offer.
Thoroughly recommended. Will continue to visit when local.
Thank you
We both had the haddock and chips, not bad really, portion of mushy peas was meagre but really tasty. 99p for bread and butter was a bit much as was £3 for a bottle of soft drink.
